This service provides pre-operational daily CO2 forecasts at high resolution up to 5 days. It uses the online CTESSEL CO2 land vegetation fluxes from the operational IFS (developed within Geoland-2) and near-real-time MACC fire emissions from GFAS. Other CO2 fluxes used include the EDGAR v4.2 anthropogenic fluxes extrapolated from 2008 to present based on the estimated global growth and the climatology of Takahashi et al. (2009) for the ocean fluxes.
